For a surgeon, surgery becomes a part of the ordinary; the everyday. This is certainly not true for patients though. My goal is to educate and ensure patients understand what to expect during all parts and all days surrounding their surgery. I want patients to understand we are all a part of a team working to improve their condition, and they are a part of that team as well. In this way, by working together, we can all achieve the desired outcome and get each patient back to their own ordinary days.
