Malcolm DeCamp, MD, is a UW Health cardiothoracic (chest) surgeon and lung transplant specialist and a professor and chair of the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. DeCamp diagnoses and treats cancerous and noncancerous chest diseases and disorders. These include infections, pneumonia, emphysema and other lung diseases, including lung and esophagus cancer and cancer that has spread to the chest, lungs and surrounding areas. Dr. DeCamp offers a variety of medical and surgical treatment options, including lung transplant surgery. He also conducts clinical trials to improve care and outcomes for patients with lung and chest cancers.
