Charles Leys, MD, MSCI, FACS, is a UW Health Kids pediatric surgeon and a professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Leys provides surgical care for babies and children of all ages, from premature babies through teenagers. He performs a wide range of surgical procedures, focusing on chest and abdominal conditions. Dr. Ley regularly cares for kids with congenital anomalies (abnormalities present at birth), thoracic (chest) disorders, chest wall deformities and tumors. He also provides surgical care for gastrointestinal (digestive) disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease and gastroesophageal reflux.
