Dr. Michael J. Reyes was born & raised in McAllen, TX and graduated high school in Brownsville, TX. In 2004, he graduated with Bachelors of Science degrees from the University of Texas San Antonio Honors College and the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He graduated with a medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 2009. In 2015, Dr. Reyes completed his General Surgery residency at St. John Hospital in Detroit, MI where he served as an Advanced Trauma & Life Support Instructor. Dr. Reyes has made it his mission to increase access to Robotic General & Acute Care Surgery in Corpus Christi. Dr. Reyes is board certified with the American College of Surgeons.
