Michael W. Steines, MD

About

Dr Michael W Steines earned his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in 1991. He then moved on to his residency and internship through the University of Kansas Medical Center, completing his training in 1996. Upon graduation, Dr Steines relocated to the Bryan/College Station area to obtained his board certification from the American Board of Surgery in 1997 and became a Fellow of the American College of Surgery in 1999. His surgical interests include: bariatric, breast, colorectal, surgical oncology, trauma and vascular surgery. In 2005, Dr Steines became a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Currently, Dr Steines is the on the Board of Directors for St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
