Dr. Fernando A. Angarita grew up in Bogota, Colombia. He received his medical doctorate from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogota, Colombia. After graduating from medical school, he completed a Master of Science in oncolytic virotherapy at the Institute of Medical Science, University of Toronto, ON, Canada. He completed general surgery residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Angarita became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2020. He was certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery in 2021. He completed a Society of Surgical Oncology-approved breast surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo, NY.Dr.
