Erik P. Askenasy, MD, FACS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon with expertise in advanced colorectal surgery and comprehensive colorectal care. He performs advanced endoscopic procedures and has established a high volume program in the Memoiral Hermann Hospital system Askenasy established the robotic colorectal program within the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he’s an associate professor. He’s also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He’s been recognized with numerous awards and is active in many professional organizations. He is a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons as well as the American College of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
