Elisa Furay, M.D., is an assistant professor of surgery at Dell Medical School and director of the Heartburn and Esophageal Disorders Center which is part of The Texas Center for Digestive Health. She is a general surgeon with fellowship training in advanced endoscopy and minimally invasive surgical techniques in both general surgery as well as foregut surgery, which includes both benign and malignant esophageal and gastric disorders. She and her partner, Dr. Tripp Buckley, are dedicated to state of the art comprehensive care in foregut disorders such as GERD, hiatal/paraesophageal hernias, esophageal and gastric motility disorders, achalasia, and revisional anti-reflux and bariatric operations.
