Dr. Amanda Garza is a Texas native, born in the city of Mission in the Rio Grande valley. After her grandmother passed away from breast cancer, Dr. Garza dedicated herself to her studies to become a doctor to help families in similar circumstances. Dr. Garza is a fluent Spanish speaker. Dr. Garza specializes in general laparoscopic procedures and diseases of the breast. She truly enjoys performing laparoscopic Nissen procedures for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) as well as spleen and thyroid procedures. Dr. Garza loves reading mystery and crime novels, dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
