Richard Orr MD

About

After graduating with honors from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Orr received his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. where he completed his surgical residency at the USF affiliated hospitals. Dr. Orr completed a two-year surgical oncology fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA (with an emphasis on breast and head and neck surgery). Currently, he is a professor at the Medical University of South Carolina and former Chair of Surgery at VCOM. With over 35 years of cancer surgery experience, Dr. Orr specializes in breast cancer, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal surgery, melanoma and other skin cancers.
