Ratna Pallapothu, MD, is board certified in general surgery and fellowship trained in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery. Dr. Pallapothu has several years of experience and is a clinical assistant professor of Surgery at University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia and medical director of Prisma Health Hernia Center in the Midlands. He has a special interest in complex hernia surgery with abdominal wall reconstruction and is one of the few in South Carolina to offer surgical options for stomach disorders such as gastroparesis.
