R. Barry Hird MD

About

Dr. Hird received his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. He completed his residency at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Hird completed a fellowship in Breast Cancer at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Breast Disease and American Society of Breast Surgeons. He is the program director for the surgery residency program. Dr. Hird is board certified in general surgery.
