About

I was born and raised in Greenville, but after graduating from the University of South Carolina I was on active duty in the U.S. Air Force as an aviator aboard B-52 H-bombers. It was during my time in the Air Force that I decided I wanted to pursue something different. On the advice of a family member, I studied for medical school and ultimately attended the Medical College of Georgia, followed by a five-year residency in General Surgery that I completed in 2010. I am currently the Chief of Surgery at Laurens County Hospital, and practicing general surgery is a dream come true!
