Dr. Johnson is a board-certified, fellowship-trained South Carolina native who has practiced medicine in the Charleston area for over 30 years. After graduating from the College of Charleston with honors, he attended the Medical University of South Carolina for three years and one year at The London University Hospital in London, England. Following medical school, Dr. Johnson had the unique opportunity to work in research with a spine surgeon and brother Dr. Donald Johnson in San Francisco and Hong Kong. This experience fostered a special interest in spinal medicine, leading to a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at MUSC.
