Ward Richardson, MD, is a pediatric surgeon and is certified in both general surgery and pediatric surgery through the American Board of Surgery. He is director of the Benedum Pediatric Trauma Program. Dr. Richardson received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center followed by his fellowship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Richardson’s clinical interests include neonatal surgery, intestinal failure, minimally invasive surgery, chest wall deformities, tumors, lung and esophageal surgery, Hirschsprung’s disease, and anorectal malformations. He is the proud father of two daughters.
