For nearly twenty years, Dr. Savas Mavridis has served the communities of Johnstown and the surrounding region as a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon at Conemaugh Health System and in various leadership capacities, including the medical director of the cardiovascular service line and medical staff president at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine (Philadelphia, PA) before going on to complete his general surgery residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center/Temple University (Johnstown, PA) and cardiothoracic surgery residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham (Birmingham, AL).
