Dr. Paul K. Waltz MD is a pediatric general surgeon and is board eligible in pediatric general and thoracic surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is the surgical director of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and assistant professor of surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center followed by his pediatric surgery fellowship at UPMC Children’s. Dr. Waltz’s clinical interests include neonatal and minimally invasive surgery, congenital diaphragmatic hernia, and gastrointestinal, and colorectal surgery.
