Michael Cowher, MD, is a breast surgeon specializing in a variety of breast conditions including surgical intervention for breast cancer. He is the Director of the Jameson Breast Program and the Associate Director of the UPMC Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program. Dr. Cowher is board-certified in general surgery. He received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM) in Rootstown. Dr. Cowher completed his residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and a breast surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Breast Center. Dr. Cowher is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology.
