Marc E. Cordero, MD

Marc E. Cordero, MD, is a general surgeon certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is vice chairman of the Department of Surgery at UPMC East and UPMC McKeesport and medical director of the West Mifflin Surgery Center, as well as an associate professor of surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Joseph Mercy in Pontiac, Michigan. Dr. Cordero’s clinical interests include general surgery and wound care. He lives in Peters Township with his wife and daughter. Dr. Cordero enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time at Disney with his family.
