Linwah Yip, MD

Linwah Yip, MD, FACS, is chief of the Division of Breast and Endocrine Surgery, and program director for the University of Pittsburgh Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship. She specializes in thyroid and parathyroid disease/cancers, adrenal tumors, and functional pancreatic tumors. Dr. Yip is board-certified in general surgery. She received her medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, Chicago. Dr. Yip completed surgical residency training at Northwestern University in Chicago and the University of Florida Health Sciences Center in Jacksonville, Fla., and surgical oncology research and clinical fellowships at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and UPMC.
