Kelly McCoy, MD, FACS, is acting chief surgeon at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. She specializes in surgery of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disease/cancers particularly in minimally invasive techniques and in molecular genetics and advanced imaging modalities for surgical management of endocrine diseases. Dr. McCoy is board-certified in general surgery. She received her medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed a residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., followed by a fellowship in endocrine surgery at UPMC.
