Douglas Alan Reed, MD

Douglas Reed, MD is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the Society of American GI and Endoscopic Surgeons. He completed his medical degree at Ross School of Medicine and residencies at both Yale University and the University of Vermont. At the University of Vermont, he completed his Mastery of Surgery fellowship with the American College of Surgeons focused on acute care surgery and earned the Larner College of Medicine Professionalism Accolade. He then completed his fellowship in minimally invasive, bariatric and advanced gastrointestinal surgery at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Reed practices at the Minimally Invasive Bariatric and General Surgery Program located in UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.
