As a physician, I strongly believe patients make the best decisions when they are well informed. I therefore take time to educate my patients about their condition and the treatment options available, including my recommendations, so that together we can develop effective treatment plans. Upper extremity injuries, especially hand injuries that compromise grasp, can significantly impact basic activities of daily living, and seriously affect our interactions with others. My goal is to ensure that each patient achieves the best possible outcome that in most cases is non-operative treatment but can also require surgery. I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow.
