Yarrow McConnell, MD, FACS

About

Dr McConnell provides surgical care for a wide range of cancer patients, with a focus on breast cancer, melanoma and soft tissue tumors. Trained in Canada, she became American Board of Surgery certified in 2010. As a fellowship-trained Surgical Oncologist, she began her career as Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital. In 2016 she moved into private practice in Washington State, serving as chair of general surgery and special advisor for cancer surgical services for her region, in addition to managing a busy clinical practice. In mid 2023 she moved to Corvallis, Oregon to become medical director of breast and surgical oncology services at Samaritan Health Services.
