Mark R. Meese, M.D.

About

Dr. Meese, born in Kansas City, Missouri, grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma and attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC). He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at OUHSC’s Tulsa campus. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Meese has also served as Chairman of the Oklahoma Chapter. Since 1990, he has practiced at Surgical Associates, specializing in minimally invasive hernia repair, gallbladder removal, solid organ removal, and endocrine surgery. He has trained numerous surgeons in advanced hernia repair techniques.
