Francisco Guerra Jr., M.D.

About

Dr. Guerra earned his undergraduate degree in Physiology, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of Arizona, and his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, followed by a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Guerra joined Surgical Associates in September 2023 and is board-certified by the American Board of Surgeons. His special interests include bariatric and advanced gastrointestinal surgery. He is also fluent in Spanish.
