About

Minia Hellan, MD, FACS is a highly skilled, fellowship\-trained surgical oncologist serving Kettering and the surrounding communities. Dr Hellan has decades of experience providing the very best care to her patients. Dr Hellan earned her medical degree at the University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria. After medical school, she completed a residency in family medicine at the University Hospital of Vienna. She then transitioned into a general surgery residency at Metropolitan Group Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois, and a fellowship in surgical oncology at City Hope Medical Center in Duarte, California. She also has additional training in minimally invasive surgery and liver ablation as well as laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques.
