About

Jonathan Velasco, MD, is a board\-certified and fellowship\-trained vascular surgeon. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). A Fellow is recognized as a provider at the top of their field. Board\-certified physicians are credentialed by a board of their peers that has determined the provider demonstrates a high level of expertise in their field. Fellowship\-trained providers have additional specialized training after their residency training that is required for a medical license. Dr Velasco's wife is also a physician, and they're committed to the Dayton medical community. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, hiking, running, and camping.
