Dr. Ernest performs all aspects of general surgery -- including breast surgery, gastrointestinal surgery as well as repair of various types of hernias. When appropriate Dr. Ernest utilizes minimally invasive techniques to lessen post-operative discomfort associated with surgery, aid in speed of recovery and promote faster return to pre-operative activities. Dr. Ernest believes in and practices a patient centered approach which is focused on assisting both the patient and family with many of the questions associated with their surgical care. Dr. Ernest is Board Certified and a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons as well as the American Osteopathic Association.
