Dr. Michelle Bertsch is a board certified surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons specializing in: benign and malignant diseases of the breast; breast cancer diagnosis and treatment; breast cancer surgery - lumpectomy and mastectomy; sentinel lymph node biopsy; breast biopsy; oncoplastic surgery to maximize cosmetic outcome at the time of lumpectomy; screening colonoscopy and endoscopy; general and laparoscopic surgery; and skin cancers including melanoma. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and serves as cancer liaison to the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. She believes in a personalized, integrative approach to surgery, considering the patient's preferences and concerns.
