James O. Wyatt III MD

Dr. James Wyatt, III (Jay) joined the Central Carolina Surgery Group in April 2000, to become the Medical Director of the trauma program at Moses Cones Hospital. Dr. Wyatt received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Harvard and his MD from Stanford. He started his surgical training at Loyola University in Illinois, and completed his chief residency at Stanford University Hospital where he received his training in trauma and critical care. He continues to practice critical care surgery and trauma while maintaining a broad interest in general surgery including gastrointestinal surgery, biliary surgery, and endocrine surgery.
