Dr. Douglass Blackman is a board-certified general surgeon in Greensboro, NC. Dr. Blackman grew up locally in High Point, NC. He received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his general surgical residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. Dr. Blackman joined Central Carolina Surgery in 2000. He then left Greensboro for Shelby, NC in 2005. After five years in Shelby, he and his family returned to Greensboro and CCS in January of 2011. Dr. Blackman maintains a broad interest in all aspects of general surgery. Dr. Blackman welcomes patients from Burlington, High Point, Greensboro, Kernersville, Winston-Salem and adjacent areas.
