Samuel Sultan, M.D.

Samuel Sultan, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Surgery (Transplantation Surgery) at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Board certified in surgery, he specializes in kidney, pancreas, and liver transplantation, and laparoscopic donor nephrectomies. His clinical interests also include kidney auto-transplants, islet cell transplantation and dialysis access surgery. Dr. Sultan is actively involved in clinical research, and he enjoys teaching residents and medical students. He has received several awards, including the Distinguished Housestaff Award for his work on quality improvement projects.
