Dr. Newman has over 20 years of experience focusing on Minimally Invasive General Surgery Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic surgery and surgery of the Thyroid Parathyroid and Adrenal glands. Over the course of his career he has taught residents and fellows started and ran a general surgery group practice and held administrative roles in surgical supply chain and medical group management. Prior to joining Northwell/NWH Dr. Newman was director of General Surgical Programs at St Francis Hospital and Medical Center a 600 bed teaching hospital in Hartford CT.
