Marc E. Sher, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified general surgeon and colorectal surgeon on a team of providers at Progressive Surgical Care in Manhasset Hills, in New Hyde Park, in the Lindenwood area and Howard Beach, New York. Dr. Sher’s passion is surgery and particularly, colon and rectal surgery. He served as president of the most prestigious surgical society in the country, “The New York Surgical Society” as well as the New York Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. His group offers specialized care in the treatment of general and colorectal surgical issues in Nassau and Queens county.
