Dr. Lisa Newman is a surgical oncologist with a clinical and research practice dedicated to breast cancer management. In August 2018, she was appointed Chief of the Section of Breast Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Newman leads the multidisciplinary breast oncology programs which provides the most compassionate care to women and men affected by breast cancer. Dr. Newman leads a team of breast surgeons that use state-of-the-art screening and imaging technologies, innovative surgical and reconstruction techniques, and radiation therapies to provide patients with comprehensive breast cancer care. She also practices at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn Methodist, and Queens Hospitals.
