Dr. Vijay Palvia is a Complex Gynecologic Surgeon working in NYC (Bronx & Harlem) with expertise in minimally invasive surgery. He trained at Bethlehem, PA for Ob/Gyn Residency (St. Luke's) and in Manhattan, NY for Minimally Invasive Surgery (Mt. Sinai). He specializes in surgeries related to endometriosis, fibroids, hysterectomies, ovarian cysts, adenomyosis, pelvic masses, and infertility surgery. Majority of his surgeries are minimally invasive thru laparoscopic approaches. Dr. Palvia is the Co-Director of the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Program. He helps lead the Gyn ERAS Program to promote good surgical outcomes. He promotes evidence-based medicine and comprehensive counseling with his patients before final surgical planning.
