David Hong, DO, FACS, is a member of Summit Health’s Colorectal Surgery team. Dr. Hong pursued a career in health care because he had an interest in science and medicine and a desire to help improve people’s lives. As part of a colorectal surgery team, Dr. Hong’s area of expertise is in treating benign and malignant conditions of the colon, rectum, and anus. “I am trained and skilled in all types of colorectal surgery, including in-office and hospital-based anorectal procedures, colonoscopies, and laparoscopic and trans-anal minimally invasive surgeries involving the colon and rectum,” he says. Dr. Hong approaches patient care with compassion, providing a premier standard of care, surgery, and treatment to his patients.
