Omar Hashmi, MD

About

Dr. Omar Hashmi is a general surgeon trained across a full spectrum of surgical fields in open and laparoscopic techniques. He has extensive robotics experience for colorectal and general surgery procedures as well as extensive experience in trauma and critical care surgery. He attended Temple University School of medicine in Philadelphia PA and accomplished his residency at AHN Medical Education Consortium in Pittsburgh PA. He was honored with the Gold Humanism Honor Society in medical school. He was awarded Magna Cum Laude, National Merit Scholar, Aresty Summer Science Research Grant and Rutgers College Academic Excellence Scholarship for his undergraduate degree.
