Winnie Polen, DO

Winnie M. Polen, DO, specializes in diagnosing and managing benign and malignant breast conditions. Dr. Polen performs sentinel lymph node mapping, full axillary lymph node dissection, localized needle excisional biopsy, lumpectomy, partial mastectomy, and total mastectomy. She also is adept at a wide range of breast biopsy procedures, including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy and stereotactic breast biopsy. Dr. Polen collaborates with her colleagues in radiology, pathology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, plastic surgery, and social work to help her patients get comprehensive care. Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Polen was Director of the Great Lakes Naval Breast Care Center in Great Lakes, Illinois.
