Dr. Emaad Iqbal, MD, is a member of Summit Health's General Surgery team. He is deeply committed to helping patients understand their disease, providing surgical treatment, and supporting his patients through recovery.Dr. Iqbal trained in General Surgery at Columbia University, treating patients with a wide variety of abdominal and broader surgical pathologies. He is well equipped to handle problems related to the gallbladder, small intestine, appendix, and colon. Patients with renal failure who choose peritoneal dialysis can also turn to him for the insertion, maintenance, and troubleshooting of their peritoneal dialysis catheters.
