Elaine Cheng, MD, is a general surgeon at Inspira Medical Group General and Vascular Surgery Woodbury. She earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed her residency in general surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital?eill Cornell Medical Center. Dr Cheng specializes in abdominal transplant surgery, robotic surgery, cholecystectomy, hernia surgery and skin and soft tissue surgery. She is a member of the Association of Women Surgeons and The Transplantation Society. Dr Cheng has published many articles and has earned the Intestinal Transplant Association Young Investigator Award. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
