Nancy Rivera, MD, fellowship trained in Surgical Critical Care medicine and board certified in General Surgery, joins the elite staff of Desert Surgical Associates in August of 2018. Dr. Rivera, a New Mexican native, did her undergraduate training at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM, attained her Medical Doctorate at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2011, General Surgery Residency training at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine (2011-2016), where she was named Outstanding Chief Resident in Emergency General Surgery in 2016.Dr. Rivera relocated to Las Vegas where she completed her Surgical Critical Care/Acute Care Surgery Fellowship. She joined DSA in August 2018
