Dr. Matthew Swenson is a board-certified General Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is associated with Valley Health Surgical Specialists and is the Associate Program Director for the Valley Health System General Surgery Residency training program. He completed his surgical training at University Medical Center in Las Vegas and is a United States Air Force Veteran. Dr. Swenson specializes in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Using these techniques enables him to complete surgical operations with small incisions. For patients this means small scars, less pain, and quick recovery. Dr. Swenson focuses on hernias, gastric reflux, gallbladder disease, pilonidal disease, and cancer operations.
