Growing up, there was never a doubt in Dr Jeffrey Carson's mind that he would one day be a doctor. As early as his teenage years, he began taking the necessary steps to shape his medical future. He shadowed many different health professionals in his youth, but his favorite moments included those in which he spent observing surgeons in an operating room. Their level of commitment to patients?well-being inspired Dr Carson to follow his own path to becoming a doctor. Dr Carson went on to attend medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He later fulfilled his lifelong goal of becoming a surgeon by completing his residency training at UNMC. Today, he performs surgeries at Methodist Physicians Clinic.
