As a general surgeon who specializes in weight loss surgery, Dr. Hung was instrumental in starting the bariatric/surgical weight loss programs in Lincoln. Prior to this, no weight loss procedures had been performed in Lincoln since the mid 1990’s. Since the inception of the program at Surgical Associates, P.C., Dr. Hung has performed over 450 gastric bypasses, 700 Lap Bands, and 150 laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomies. Offering the full complement of procedures allows our patients to choose which operation is best suited for their lifestyle. Currently, he is the Co-Medical Director of the Bryan Bariatric Program and was previously the Medical Director of the bariatric program at St. Elizabeth’s from its inception until March 2015.
