J. Wesley Hurston, Jr., MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Surgery. Dr. Hurston received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. He completed his residency at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn. Hurston is board certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and has special practice interests in foregut hernias, abdominal wall hernias, colon surgery, breast surgery and endocrine surgery, including thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal.
