Brian D. Kim MD FACS is a Trauma, Acute Care Surgeon, and Surgical Intensivist in the Division of Trauma, Critical Care, and General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Kim is an Associate Professor. He has a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience. His clinical interests are lean models of trauma resuscitation, practice standardization, pre-hospital care, damage control resuscitation, surgical education, surgical performance and quality improvement, and the advancement of the science / practice of chest wall stabilization.
