Ahmad Abutaka, M.B.B.S, is an Acute Care Surgeon. His area of clinical and academic focus include: Critical care for trauma and surgical patients, Emergency General Surgical conditions, such as appendicitis, gallbladder disease and bile duct stones, small bowel obstruction, bowel perforation, mesenteric ischemia, complicated hernias, pancreatic necrosis, and soft tissue infections. He also has a focused practice on management of abdominal wall hernias and small bowel dysfunction, utilizing both open and minimally invasive approach (Laparoscopic and Robotic).
