Senan Abdul-Hamed, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon who is fellowship-trained in both plastic surgery and burn/wounds at MSU Health Care Surgery. Dr. Abdul-Hamed received his medical degree from University of Baghdad, Iraq. He completed a postdoctoral minimally invasive surgery research fellowship at John Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then began his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago/Metropolitan Group Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois, transferring to complete the general surgery residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas.
